About Us

A journey of growth and excellence, since 2008

Patfin began with fewer than ten pupils and a simple conviction: quality education, rooted in moral values, can transform any child's future. Eighteen years later, we're still living that out — every day, in every classroom.

Our Story

From ten pupils to four hundred

Patfin was established on 6th September 2008 by Mrs. Patience Nwani, with fewer than ten pupils in attendance. Her vision was clear from the start: provide quality education rooted in strong moral values and real academic excellence.

In the early years, the school operated on a small scale — nurturing each child by name, with care and dedication. As time progressed, Mr. Finbarr Nwani, her husband, joined the institution after retiring from the Nigerian civil service. His involvement brought additional structure, administrative strength, and oversight that helped the school grow steadily.

Their daughter, Mrs. Mercy Igbomiye, supports the school as Head Administrator, ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. Together, the family has built an institution grounded in discipline, consistency, and a passion for education.

Today, Patfin has grown to about 400 students across its primary and secondary sections, supported by over 20 academic and non-academic staff. Despite our location in a rural area, we continue to deliver high-quality education that equips students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to thrive far beyond their immediate environment.

Our alumni excel across many fields — a living testament to the solid educational foundation laid here. Patfin remains committed to its founding vision: raising disciplined, knowledgeable, and well-rounded individuals who are prepared to lead and make meaningful contributions to society.
